What is UpHire?
- UpHire is an AI career assistant for job seekers. It scores your CV against a specific job posting, shows what is holding it back, rewrites weak bullet points, generates cover letters, and runs mock interviews you can practise with.
Who is UpHire for?
- Job seekers who apply online and want to know why their applications are filtered out before a person reads them — including career changers, graduates, and anyone tailoring a CV to individual postings.
What is an ATS score?
- An applicant tracking system (ATS) is the software employers use to filter applications. UpHire's ATS score is a 0–100 estimate of how well your CV matches one specific job posting and how reliably that software can read it. A score of 70 is treated as the minimum competitive match.
How does the free ATS check work?
- Paste the job description, upload your CV as a PDF, and your score appears in under a minute — no account needed. The score is free; the detailed report requires a free account. Each visitor gets one free check.
Which file formats does UpHire accept?
- CVs are uploaded as PDF files. Job descriptions are pasted in as plain text.
Which platforms is UpHire available on?
- UpHire runs in any modern web browser, and as an Android app on Google Play. An iOS app is not available yet.
Which languages does UpHire support?
- The interface and the documents UpHire generates are available in 11 languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.
How much does UpHire cost?
- The free plan includes one ATS check, one CV optimization, one job-specific CV, one cover letter and one mock interview. Paid plans start at $7 per month and are purchased in the UpHire mobile app.
Is my CV stored?
- For a free ATS check run without an account, the uploaded PDF is not stored — only the report generated from it. What UpHire keeps for account holders is set out in the privacy policy.
